Level 4 Award in HACCP Management for Food Manufacturing
Aimed at HACCP Team Leaders and members, senior supervisors, managers and auditors working within the food manufacturing industry and enforcement officers. It will also be of benefit to those working in catering and retail.
This Level 4 qualification covers the importance of HACCP based food safety management procedures, the management and implementation of HACCP based procedures, development of the procedures and the evaluation of the procedures.
The examination consists of two papers; paper one is six questions from a choice of eight in 90 minutes; paper two consists of a case study to be completed in one hour.

Food Hygiene Training for Engineers
The BRC Standards States
“The company shall ensure that the safety or legality of product is not jeopardised during maintenance and cleaning operations”.
Our specific Food Hygiene Training for Engineers course is a 2 hour course which recaps on essential food hygiene training requirements together with HACCP. This course and certificates awarded to attendees will provide evidence that your engineering staff have the necessary knowledge.
Course Content:
- Video presentation – Hygiene for Engineers – covers introduction and recap of basic food hygiene training requirements.
- What is HACCP.
- 7 Codex HACCP principles.
- HACCP – stages of developing a system.
- Microbiological hazards and examples.
- Chemical hazards and examples.
- Physical hazards and examples.
- Pre-requisites including specific engineering pre-requisites e.g. lubricants. PPM, contractors.
- Your CCP’s
- Legislation and HACCP.
- BRC Standard – maintenance section.
Cost £550 for two 2 hour sessions in one day.
