We work with both large and small food manufacturers on the development of food safety systems to meet the requirements of the British Retail Consortium and we have a proven track record for BRC Global Standard for Food Safety, BRC Global Standard for Packaging and Packaging Materials, BRC Global Standard Storage and Distribution and BRC Global Standard Consumer Products.

Some of our clients are SMEs with as few as 7 employees, proving that the BRC Standard can be achieved by small companies.

Projects have been successfully completed resulting in approval to the BRC Standard by EFSIS (European Food Safety Inspection Service), CMi Inspection & Law Laboratories which are approved by the major food retailers and food service organisations.

We carry out projects all over the world, our latest assignment in Macedonia resulted in three companies, Gudalat (Juice Manufacturer) Pilko (Poultry Slaughterhouse and Processor) and Vitalia (Health Food Manufacturer) all achieving Higher Level BRC Certification by EFSIS in June 2005, the first such certification in the Balkan region. We also assisted one of the largest dairy producers in Riga, Latvia which again resulted in Higher Level approval being awarded by EFSIS on their first audit, the first in the Baltic region.

We have a 100% success rate in assisting clients achieve 'A' Grade certification on first inspections and re-inspections!

We also carry out full quality system audits against the requirements of the major retailers to verify quality systems, procedures & documentation in place, deficiencies are highlighted and recommendations made to improve practice or procedures as necessary. Funding for up to 50% of consultancy fees may be available for BRC Certification projects approved by the Government's Business Support Agencies.

Practical Internal Audit Course

A common non-conformity in BRC certification audits is against the following clause:

“Internal audits shall be carried out by appropriately trained competent auditors, independent from the audited department”.

HACCP Training for HACCP Team and CCP monitors.

The BRC Standards States:

“The team members shall have specific knowledge of HACCP”

“The food safety team shall have a designated and qualified team leader who shall be able to demonstrate competence and experience of HACCP”. 

“Records shall be maintained that demonstrate the food safety team has the required knowledge and understanding of HACCP”.

Food Hygiene Training for Engineers

The BRC Standards States

“The company shall ensure that the safety or legality of product is not jeopardised during maintenance and cleaning operations”.

Our specific Food Hygiene for Engineers course is a 2 hour course which recaps on essential food hygiene requirements together with HACCP. This course and certificates awarded to attendees will provide evidence that your engineering staff have the necessary knowledge.
